Step Two: Business and Financial Qualification
Step two involves entering into a legal agreement with RegistryPro. We’ll need you to gather copies of your company formation documents, sign registry agreements and complete ICANN-required forms and send all of the information to RegistryPro to establish your account.
Company Formation Documents
These documents are used to verify the legal entity with which RegistryPro is entering into a contract. As some of the documents you will be signing are legal documents, you must use the corporate name listed on your formation documents when executing agreements and submitting payment security and surety instruments. Your corporate name must also match the name used for your ICANN accreditation.
Registry-Registrar Agreement (RRA)
The RRA is the contract between RegistryPro and the registrar. Please fill in your company's ICANN-accredited and legally registered name, place of incorporation and principle place of business and have both copies signed by your organization's authorized person. Please return the two signed original Registry-Registrar Agreements to RegistryPro at the address listed below.
.PROTLD Ancillary Services Agreement (subject to toolkit use)
The Ancillary Services Agreement is the contract between RegistryPro and the registrar that provides policies and procedures for RegistryPro's verification and digital certificate services. Please fill in your company's ICANN-accredited and legally registered name, place of incorporation and principal place of business and have both copies signed by your organization's authorized person. Please return the two signed original .PROTLD Ancillary Services Agreements to RegistryPro at the address listed below.
ICANN Registrar Requirements for .PRO
ICANN requires the registrars to sign certain documents before they are allowed to register .PRO domains. Please provide any ICANN-required documentation to verify that your company is permitted to register .PRO domains.
Checklist for Step Two
To complete step two of the process, make sure the following documents are submitted to the proper authorities:
- A copy of your company's formation documents.
- Two signed, original Registry-Registrar Agreements.
- Optionally, two completed and signed .PROTLD Ancillary Services Agreements.
- Documentation from ICANN to verify that your company is permitted to register .PRO domains.
