Step Three: Develop and Test Your Shared Registration Interface
Step three involves developing your application to interface with the RegistryPro Shared Registration System. At this point, you can use Operational Test and Evaluation (OT&E) environment to test your client system. RegistryPro requires registrars to demonstrate correct operation of their client application by performing an OT&E certification process. Alternatively, you can test and go live with the registry’s easy-to-use account management tool, ProControl.
To complete testing, you will have to schedule a time slot for your formal certification. Please contact technical support at to schedule that time slot. We recommend that you do so as soon as you start step three.
Checklist for Step Three
Before scheduling your OT&E Certification, please make sure the following tasks have been completed:
- Developed a client application that uses the EPP protocol and supports SSL connection to the registry
